ABOUT SEA MOSS
Our Moss and Process
The sea moss that The Moss Company USA, utilizes in its production is wild-harvested or organically grown. As we process our products we never use any chemicals, bleaching agents or use any additives.
When it comes to Sea Moss, there are different types of sea moss. The main two are Sea moss and Irish sea moss and are different species of seaweed. Sea Moss is a thicker, stickier seaweed that grows in warmer climates. Irish Sea Moss is a seaweed with flat, fan-like leaves that grows in cooler waters. These seaweeds build more resilience, and therefore offer more nutrient density.
Once cultivated, it is air-dried to preserve nutrient density
